We are almost at the end of the semester and all of you must be busy with finalizing your projects and portfolio. Please take a look at the rubrics for marking the assignments to make sure that you adhere to the requirements.
Don’t forget to post your reflections for Week 13. The topic is “How do I feel about pirated software, would I use it in a classroom?”

Week 12 - The Internet (New Development)

This week we will focus on the technological development and the future of the internet. We will explore how such development will affect classroom teaching and learning. You will search online for new development and record them. You will find out the potential of these technologies. In the reflection, you will write about how to stay ahead of the next generation and what you should do as a learner and as a teacher.

Week 11- The Internet (Pitfalls and Procedures)

This week we will deal with issues related to the use of internet. While Internet provides valuable resources for teaching and learning, there are some risks inherent in browsing the Internet. As teachers you should have a clear policy for Internet use by children. We will explore the Internet and develop criteria for judging the suitability of the sites.

Week 10 – Digital Video Publishing
In this week you will continue working on the editing of your interview video program. We will also explore the websites that stores the video programs. YouTube is one of the examples. Search for some video storage websites and find out their advantages and limitations as well as some interesting characteristics of the sites.
Week 9 - Digital Video Editing
This week you will edit the video program using Magix Movie Edit Pro 14 or Window Movie Maker.
